Thank you! (: Well, I'm not that good at giving advice, but I like to paint trees as very simple and minimalistic. It all really depends on painting and how big trees will be. Like with a few brush strokes a tree trunk and then a leafage with many short brush strokes and using very different kinds of colours. Though, on this painting I didn't used so much colours, here I tried to use many different shapes of lines. Also, I like to use sometimes a palette knife instead of brush, so it would look ever more bold and simple. (:
